DBison End User Licence Agreement

This agreement is between you and Jan Vorisek (the "author"), who owns DBison.
By installing or using DBison you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not
install or use DBison.

1. Licence

The author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to
install and use DBison on devices you own or control, for personal or internal
business purposes, under the terms of this agreement.

2. Ownership

DBison is licensed, not sold. The author keeps all rights, title and interest in
DBison, including its source code and all copyright in it. You receive no rights
other than those this agreement states.

3. Restrictions

Except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it despite this
restriction, you may not:

  a. copy DBison, other than as needed to install and use it;
  b. modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of DBison;
  c. decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive
     its source code;
  d. sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute or publish DBison, or make
     it available to others as a service;
  e. remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notice in DBison.

4. Third-party components

DBison includes open-source components that are licensed under their own terms.
They are listed with their licences under Help > About DBison > Third-party
notices. Those licences govern those components, and nothing in this agreement
restricts rights they grant you.

5. Your data

DBison works with the databases, servers and files you choose, using the
credentials you provide. You are responsible for that data, for keeping your
credentials safe, and for the statements you run, including keeping backups
before making changes. How DBison handles information is described in its
privacy statement, under Help > About DBison > Privacy.

6. Updates

DBison checks for updates and may download them automatically. Updates are
covered by this agreement unless they come with different terms.

7. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DBison is provided "as is" and "as
available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any
warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or
non-infringement. The author does not warrant that DBison will be error-free or
uninterrupted, or that it will not lose or alter data.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any
indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any
loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising out of or in connection with
the use of or inability to use DBison, even if advised of the possibility of such
damages. The author's total liability under this agreement is limited to the
amount you paid for DBison, if any. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits
liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach this agreement. When it ends you
must stop using DBison and delete all copies of it. Sections 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9
survive termination.

10. Changes

The author may offer later versions of DBison under different terms.
